Russia, the Land of Legends!

In the summer of 2014, I travelled to St. Petersburg and Moscow, where the ancient halls of the Russian National Library became the stage for my storytelling. There, I narrated the epic tales of Rostam and Sohrab, and Fereydun from Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh—stories that, despite the passage of centuries, remain fresh and vibrant. As I recounted them, the eyes of the audience sparkled with recognition and shared connection; in that moment, I understood that legends are bridges that link the souls of civilizations. Whether in the form of profound tragedies or heroic tales, these stories settle in the mind and spirit, and their echo lingers long after the final word is spoken. Through storytelling, we affirm our shared humanity, one story at a time.
