In the eternal city of Rome, where history echoes through every stone and alley, I had the profound joy of bringing stories to life in schools, UNICEF of Rome, and educational spaces. I shared the ancient Persian folktale of “Sang-e Saboor” (the Patient Stone), a timeless narrative of endurance, wisdom, and silent strength. As I unfolded this cherished story, I witnessed a beautiful exchange—eager young listeners and dedicated educators alike connecting with a tale that, though born in distant lands, spoke a universal language of resilience. In those moments, amid the grandeur of Rome and the warmth of shared imagination, storytelling once again proved its power to transcend borders, inspire hearts, and remind us that every culture’s treasures are gifts for the world to cherish.
